About
Michael Milstein grew up in Olney, Maryland and is a proud lifelong resident of the Old Line State. He attended the University of Maryland and the University of Baltimore School of Law before moving to Howard County in 2009, settling in the community of Maple Lawn with his wife and three children in 2011.
Michael has more than 13 years of experience practicing family law in Maryland, including divorce, custody, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, child support, domestic violence, high asset divorce, appellate family law litigation and dealing with complex financial issues. He is committed to guiding clients through stressful family law disputes with strategic, straightforward solutions and transparency. Michael has represented hundreds of clients of all ages and backgrounds and is highly adaptable to the distinct goals and needs of each client. His tactics are uniquely tailored to the client’s requirements, as no approach is one size fits all. Michael ensures his clients are informed and thoroughly understand their options before deciding on the best course of action.
Michael is dedicated to being involved in the local community. He serves as chair of the Covenants Committee for the Maple Lawn HOA, as co-chair of the BWI Business Partnership’s Young Professionals Group, and on the board for the Howard County Youth Program (HCYP). For many years, he served on the calendar committee for the Howard County Public School System, and he is currently a member of his children’s Sunday school committee and coaches many youth sports, including AYRA baseball and softball, HCYP boys and girls basketball, and HYBA boys basketball.
This investment in the community has a meaningful impact on Michael’s work, as he understands the varying needs of Maryland families in today’s busy world and strives to give all clients of Milstein Siegel an exceptional level of personal service.
Michael is an avid sports fan, unwaveringly loyal to the Commanders, Orioles, and Terps. He enjoys coaching and spectating his children’s sports, playing tennis, softball, and basketball, gardening, cooking, hiking, spending time with his wife and children, and vacationing up and down the east coast, particularly in Ocean City, Maryland.
