Harry B. Siegel, the founding and principal attorney at Milstein Siegel, has more than 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer, with a strong emphasis on divorce and all other areas of family law litigation. He remains a long-time leader in the Maryland family law community. He founded the state of Maryland’s Family Law Section for the Maryland Association for Justice, serving also as its long-time chair. In that capacity, he has created seminar series aimed at educating both judges and attorneys on cutting-edge family law issues, including high-asset cases, alimony, custody, relocation, domestic violence and appeals, as well as specific topics within divorce and family law. He has served as a moderator and speaker for numerous continuing legal education programs, helping members of the Maryland family law community stay informed on the most recent developments.
In addition to the traditional representation of clients, Mr. Siegel is frequently appointed by the courts as the best interest attorney (formerly called a guardian ad litem) for a minor child in highly contested child custody and visitation (child access) cases. He also serves as a parenting coordinator to assist parents in resolving outstanding parenting issues.
